Murtaza Qizilbash

Murtaza Qizilbash was born in Lahore in 1999 and trained as a lawyer. His creative work exists alongside his legal education, shaped by personal experience rather than performance or image. Melancholy appears often in his writing, not as a theme he tries to escape, but as an emotion he openly acknowledges. Before original songs, Murtaza spent years singing to himself in his room, especially Shafqat Amanat Ali. In 2017, he picked up the guitar after a friend introduced him to Metallica
