Montosse are a brazilian duo band from Recife, Pernambuco formed by Astratta (instruments) in 2017, being added Érdos (vocals) in next year. Most of their music is inspired by one of the darkest writers in literary history, H.P. Lovecraft, including the band's own name, Montosse, which references one of the demons in the feature film "The Evil Dead". In August 2017 a split entitled "Wintercearig" is released independently together with the north american one man band Cold, containing 3 tracks from each band.
