Growing up in Harlem was the perfect place for an aspiring rapper like Tha Misses to develop her skillz. With so many hip hop fans and venues, she began performing at 15 in school talent shows, neighborhood parties, and later moving on to Clubs and other venues. In her late teens, Tha Misses became inspired by Tupac strong vocabulary and rappin’ skillz, and as she developed her own style, that inspiration played an important roll in her talent development.
