Marlo Owczarzak

Marlo wrote her debut EP Broken Lyrics in a basement, an RV, and college apartments. Heavy with nostalgia and tinged with hope, Marlo takes a look back on her life in each song. She wrote her first song “Sleeping Beauty” when she was 16. “The writing process is just as important as the performance. Most often, I have a vision and a feeling for a song that I use as a starting point for lyrics. The words must tell the story of my vision,” Marlo says.
