Mark Sherman

Mark Sherman (born April 17, 1957) is an American jazz vibraphonist, xylophonist, pianist, drummer, composer, and educator. Known for his versatility as a multi-instrumentalist, Sherman has worked across a wide range of genres, from jazz and classical to pop and rock. Born in Manhattan, New York, Sherman began playing piano at an early age, influenced by his mother, who was a classical pianist. He later expanded his musical studies to include vibraphone and drums.
