Mariposa Extension Number (stylized in all lowercase) is a pseudonym that artist Isaac Dunbar briefly released music under. In 2020, after sharing multiple snippets on Instagram lives filled with fans, as he commonly did, Isaac explored the idea of releasing this music. He branded this persona as the "anti-pop copycat pop star" (as per the Mariposa Twitter bio). Isaac went on to create separate Mariposa social media accounts, including Twitter, as mentioned earlier, as well as an Instagram and Soundcloud.
