Marie April Diviš, professionally known as Marie April, is a Czech-American singer-songwriter. In 2026, she won the Anděl Award in the Newcomer of the Year category for her debut LP "tangerines" (2025). She performs live with her band, Marie April & The Fools. Her music is an original blend of indie and other alternative guitar-based genres, with elements of jazz and soul. Her live performances are marked by her strong, charismatic voice and the prominent brass section of her band, which includes trombone and trumpet.
