Marideth Sisco (born in West Virginia on 15 June 1943; died 18 May 2026) was an American folklorist and singer-songwriter. As well as the solo album "Empty Doors" (2017), she was lead singer with Blackberry Winter (sometimes Blackberry Winter Band). Her work largely focuses on folklore related to her native Ozark Mountains. Sisco and her music featured in the Oscar-nominated film Winter's Bone. In 2023 she was a featured artist at the 2023 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, where she performed both in song and as a storyteller.
