Lie in Ruins

Lie in Ruins is a Finnish death metal band from Espoo, Uusimaa. Originally formed in 1993 under the name Dissected, the group went inactive for several years before reforming in 2002 under its current name. Their sound is rooted in traditional death metal, marked by heavy riffs, deep growls, and a dark, atmospheric tone. The band draws clear influence from early 1990s death metal while maintaining a distinctive Finnish character, often blending faster sections with slower, doom-tinged passages.
