Leiche - meaning 'corpse' in German - is a solo project by Berlin-based Marco Donnarumma - sound artist, performer and theorist, as well as one half of the bass music duo Dadub with Daniele Antezza. Elegiac sub rustlings, empty vastnesses of distortion, a thick fog of spectral shimmings. Leiche is a purposeful exploration of the creative unbalance between harmony and distortion, song and soundscape, notes and noise. Drawing inspiration in equal part from experimental metal, cinematic sound design and virtuoso instrument players.
