Banska Bystrica based band Kubiz has formed in the beginning of January 2008. The instrumental quintet consists of members with many musical experiences - Lukáš Kubicina (drums), Tobiáš Kubicina (electric bass), Matúš Miženko (trumpet), Martin Bukový (keyboards) and Branko Jakubis (guitar). The style of their music can be described as a fusion of nu-jazz, rock and other experimental elements (like progressive, electronic, drum&bass and ethno folk tunes).
