Kocytus

In late 2022, vocalist Matheus Javali and guitarist João Pedro Oliveira decided to turn their passion for metal music into more than just admiration. Starting with just two members, they soon envisioned forming a band. After a few jam sessions, guitarist Heitor Mariotto joined, bringing the concept of "Cocytus" from Dante's "Divine Comedy," inspiring the band's name, Kocytus. In early 2024, Matheus and João Pedro spent their last semester in high school writing and registering their ideas of original songs.
