Kitava is Šiauliai University based folkrock band formed in Šiauliai, Lithuania in 2001. Kitava origin from samogitian (a dialect of Lithuanian) phrase “Kitap, va!” (Different). The lineup consisted of 7 artists: Aivaras, Armida, Kęstutis, Mindaugas, Rasa, Tomas Štokus and Vaiva. In 2005, released first album "Kitaip"
