Kevin Quail Quartet

Kevin Quail, a Chicago native, returned to the Midwest in 1994 after spending 15 years living and working in San Diego. His time in San Diego was well spent- he was part of noted Charles Mingus sideman Charles McPherson’s quintet for six years during the 1980s. He recorded with McPherson on Discovery Records in 1983, which led to a recording in the same year with bassist Andy Simpkins, also on Discovery. More recently, since returning to the Chicago area
