Kayahan

Kayahan Açar, stage name Kayahan, (born in March 29, 1949 in Izmir, Turkey, died April 3, 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey) was a Turkish pop singer-songwriter, one of the consistently best-selling musicians in Turkey. He wrote all of his own material and released more than thirteen best-selling albums during a career spanning 40 years. Kayahan was born in Izmir, on March 29th, 1949. He spent his childhood and young adulthood years in Ankara before moving to Istanbul.
