Joseph Banger

Joseph Banger is a creator of melodic, minimalist neo-classical piano pieces. His work draws on the work of other modern piano artists such as Joep Beving and Nils Frahm. Joseph Banger is a pseudonym of Matthew Haidet, who writes music from his home in Raleigh, North Carolina, on his great-grandmother's A.M Bollerman upright piano. The name came from a tall tale that Haidet told as a child about a man who once lived in his childhood home, but left no record of his existence other than a crumpled pair of glasses.
