Reading Creem, Rolling Stone, New Musical Express, Trouser Press and countless other magazines was a path to individuality. Waiting for the next releases from The Ramones, The Clash, The Buzzcocks and later The Replacements, Oasis and even Green Day was a way to set us apart. To be on the edge, to truly appreciate the life and soul of music, we didn’t just listen to it; we waited for it to change our world.
