Johann Groh (also: Ghro, Gro, Groe, Grohe, Gron, Gross ) (* around 1575 in Dresden (?); † 1627 (?) In Weesenstein (?)) Was a German organist and composer . He probably received his training at the Princely School of St. Afra in Meißen , where he worked as an organist between 1604 and 1613, possibly until 1621. After that, he entered the service of Prince Bünau in Weesenstein . In his compositional work Johann Groh was strongly influenced by Hans Leo Haßler , whose work he probably got to know through his teacher Rogier Michael.
