Johann Carl Friedrich Rellstab (1759–1813) was a German composer, music publisher, printer, and critic whose career was closely tied to the musical life of late eighteenth-century Berlin. He received his musical training from Johann Friedrich Agricola and Carl Friedrich Christian Fasch, figures associated with the Prussian court and with Berlin’s cultivated tradition of church and instrumental music.
