This Trenton, New Jersey band was lead by brothers Lon and Derrek Van Eaton, previously with local garage rockers The Tree, who are best known for the subsequent music they made for The Beatles' Apple label. Along with drummer Tim Thay, the addition of guitarist Steve Burgh and singer Bruce Foster made Elisium in 1968, which later morphed into Jacobs Creek. Basing themselves in New York, they played at Andy Warhol's factory, opened for The Doors
