Irene Skylakaki is a Greek singer-songwriter. She was born in Athens, Greece on August 5, 1990. At the age of thirteen, Irene was given her first guitar and began writing and composing her own music. At the age of thirteen, Irene was given her first guitar and began writing and composing her own music. While her passion for music continued throughout her studies, it was only after completing both an undergraduate (2008-11) and graduate (2012-13) law degree at SOAS University that she decided to dedicate herself fully to her music career.
