There are two artists called IOS, 1) A Dutch band whose name stems from Is Ook Schitterend - hard to translate in English but it would be something like 'It's brilliant too'. 2) A French alternative rock band. 1) IOS was set up in 1996 by a group of friends from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. They play so-called 'Nederpop', which is pop music with Dutch lyrics. The band consisted first of Joost Marsman (Vocals), Rubin Geurts (Drums) Sander Rozeboom (Guitar)
