In The Abyss was a Chinese black metal band founded in 2006 as a one man project by Jiang. The owner of Pest Productions, Deng, joined the project participating in the writing and production. An album was recorded in 2008, but due to equipment failure, the recordings were lost. However, a collection of crude demo songs titled "The Frosty Heart in Snowstorm" was released on Pest in 2016. Jiang and Deng also work together in the band Dopamine.
