Imperial Trumpet is part of the House of First Light, the black metal circle based in Brooklyn, NYC. The band shares members with Ustalost, Yellow Eyes, Sanguine Eagle, Vorde, Mongrel, Hand of Glory and Winds of Gladsheimr. The band takes musical inspiration from French Black Metal. There exists one rehearsal tape that was officially released and a live performance recorded on WFMU.
