Idiot Johnson is the solo project of Jonathan Tansley, an artist based in Lancaster, England. Issued on his own Castle Hill Records label in 2010, the five track Girl On A Train EP is his debut release. An album is expected in 2011. His wistful, upbeat while occasionally mournful sound has been likened to that of artists as diverse as Elbow, Belle and Sebastian, Jose Gonzalez and The Leisure Society.
