Iain Woods started toying with the idea of ‘Pop-Project as Fine-Art’ while studying conceptual art at Warwickshire School of Fine Art and then Brighton School of Art. Fascinated with the idea of ‘invisible sculpture’ by not presenting any physical object in the gallery whilst filling the room, Woods mounted a pair of speakers playing the Stanislavsky EP throughout the space, as though a radio had been left on.
