Honcho Hoodlum (born as a prominent figure in the Toronto rap scene) is widely recognized as one of the pioneering emcees of the Toronto street rap and YouTube era. He is frequently cited by his peers as one of the "Fathers" of the city's modern hip-hop sound. Hoodlum, repping Wickson, Malvern, and the Hood Hustle (HH) movement, is credited with having some of the first truly viral street rap videos to come out of Toronto.
