Hintergrund is a Columbus, Ohio duo of Tyler Thompson and B. Sopher, who make sounds and noises on synths, guitars, prepared saxophones, computers, karaoke mics, circuit bent equipment, feedback loops, and voices, pulling them from their contexts to create looping, droning, static-ridden art.
