Heavier Than Heaven

Hyper - [hayp-ur]: overexcited, overstimulated, keyed up; fanatical or rabid. Modal – [mohd-l]: noting or pertaining to mood or musical scales; exhibiting or expressing some phrase. It is common that a band’s name doesn’t actually mean anything these days, yet Hypermodal’s name stems from the basis of their musical style and practice: keyed up and overstimulated electronic and organic instrument sounds organized in a decoupage of various moods and scales to express the heaviest to the lightest of human emotions.
