Heather Slater

This is a largely acoustic-based solo project for singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Heather Slater. Here, the songs are usually stripped right down to their core, to a place where the squeak of finger on acoustic guitar string, or the crackle of vinyl, or the muffled sound of a dog barking in the distance, are as essential to the atmosphere as the song itself. With her alternative rock roots, Heather is no gentle folk singer in the traditional sense.
