Gygath

Gygath is a Swedish black metal duo formed in 2022, emerging from the underground with a raw and atmospheric take on the genre. Rooted in the spirit of classic Scandinavian black metal while embracing more expansive and improvisational structures, Gygath crafts expansive soundscapes that evoke frost-bitten forests, night skies, and ancestral shadows. The project brings together Sortilege (guitars, bass, keyboards) and Swartadauþuz (vocals, keyboards), two musicians with deep roots in the European extreme metal underground.
