Gustafi

Gustafi are a band from Vodnjan near Pula in Istra (Histria, Istria), Croatia. The band was formed in 1980 as "Gustaph y njegovi dobri duhovi" (Gustaph and his good spirits). They played alternative rock and in 1983 they achived the status of an important alternative band in the ex-Yugoslavia, but they couldn't manage to make for a living by playing that kind of music so they started to play at the same time popular and istrian folk/ethno music in hotels, restorants, on boats, on weddings...
