Girolamo Rossi (fl. Naples, 1733–1768) is a poorly documented eighteenth-century Neapolitan musician whose historical profile is presently reconstructable only in fragments, through a small set of surviving compositions and a handful of performance and libretto traces connected with devotional institutions and civic-religious celebrations in the Kingdom of Naples. In the modern account that underpins the recent revival of his music, Rossi is presented as a composer active in Naples across the middle decades of the eighteenth century
