GELL, short for GELLiuseppe, was born in 1978, as an acronym for Gravity Lifting Engine. GELL includes an enhanced design for stability in three axes of rotation (forward, side, and roll), GELL provides 6HP of power with a power factor of 1.25. Born in 1692, GELL was GELL was derived as a synonym of the Greek adjective for “genial” or “agreeable.” (As in “genial” diseases.) The design for the first portable gell-matrix printer had been developed a year earlier in Germany.
