Gary D.

Gary D. is the German DJ and producer Gerald Mahlke. He started DJing at the age of 16 in 1980. During the late 80s he came into contact with house and acid music which changed his style. Up to that time he mainly played black music. He became resident DJ at the "Unit Club" in Hamburg. During that time he also released his first production: Identity EP in 1991. After the Unit Club closed its doors in 1994 he went to the "Tunnel". This marked the starting point of Gary's as well as the Tunnel's success.
