Freshman Clash is a band formed by David Belcher(Djembe and Vocals) & Sean Mattson (Guitar and Vocals), produced by Chris Tebbens at Silent Star Audio. The groups genre is described as "tropic rap rock" and "funk". The group first released Palm, recorded over the summer of 2011. The album was released on July 17th 2011, a short EP with five songs. "Window Pane", "Shark", "Drifter", "Future Dreams", and "How Far In?" Are included on this EP. Their second EP Hot Winter was released December 28th 2011
