Fred White is one of Maurice White's many brothers who actually is also a drummer. Fred played on and off with the group from around 1975 till 1981. Fred's chops are well heard throughout the groups hey day-1975-1981. Not much was circulated in the media about Fred's departure from the group but he did resurface on EWF's 2003 disc "The Promise " as a singer and a drum programmer.
