Francesco Maria Benedetti (Assisi, 12 December 1683 - Assisi, 2 July 1749) was an Italian Franciscan and composer. Francesco Maria Benedetti, born in Assisi , was Chapel Master in Assisi, Turin and Aosta . Friar minor conventual from 1715 to 1722 he was chapel master in the church of San Francesco d'Assisi in Turin , from 1727 he returned to Assisi as chapel master of the Basilica of San Francesco in replacement of FM Zuccari. In the period 1722-1727 he was present in Aosta, always with the position of Chapel Master.
