Francesco Alborea, or Franciscello or Francischello (March 7, 1691 in Naples – July 20, 1739 in Vienna), was an Italian cellist and composer of the late Baroque. Francesco Alborea acquired his musical knowledge as a student of the "Conservatorio Santa Maria di Loreto" in Naples. He was the principal cellist in the Royal Neapolitan Court Orchestra and, alongside Giovanni Perroni (1688-1748), Francesco Scipriani (1678-1753), Salvatore Lanzetti (1710-1780) and others
