Filibuster

1) A third-wave ska band based in Sacramento, California who opened for Sublime's last show in Petaluma, CA. Filibuster play a style known as urban rocksteady, or streetsteady, which relies on organic tones, hard hitting grooves, and melodic vocals. They combine ska and reggae with early punk and hardcore roots, with the occasional turntable scratch or sample. Filibuster is a six piece band combining a range of sounds from many eras of music.
