February Montaine was a DIY artist from the Midlands, England who was active between the period of 1985 and 1991. Fantasy Fiction Records came across these recordings through Sam Potter (previously of Late of The Pier) who has been working with February’s step-daughter Suzy, to document Montaine's unique take on the world. What was left by February varies from well archived stems to scraps of ideas recorded straight to tape. In the last year these have been carefully digitised
