Falling Silent was a moderately successful "local" metal-core band from the mid 2000's featuring front man Andrew Katz (vocals) and his brother Jacob Katz (lead guitar). The band also included various other members over their several years of activity but ultimately included Aaron Silbering (rhythm guitar), Jonathan Menager (drums), and Ryne Fiebig (bass). Falling Silent played local shows outside the Los Angeles area until the end of 2006, when brothers Andrew and Jacob decided to pursue different musical endeavors
