FAILED ASSIMILATION is a post-industrial rock band, which arose from the ashes of Brisbane's industrial scene in late 2015. Johnny Daeus (vocals), Luke “Siebz” Siebenhausen (bass guitar), Jethro “Jay” Hilliard (programming and keys) and Callum Dodds (lead guitar) had all come from various bands and projects that had ended or had fallen into extended hiatuses: DAIS, Dreadtrench, Domination Korporation, and SRB. The later, having the honour to open for Hanzel und Gretyl (USA) in 2012 at The Jubilee Hotel.
