Started in Zion, IL in 2011, Evil Twin Sister formed when Adam messaged and met Sergio following the collapse of Sergio's previous band, The Pages. Rey joined as the drummer, another pickup from The Pages, and Evil Twin Sister played as a three-piece for about a year. At some point in 2012, Mario joined the band as a second guitarist and vocalist, yet another convert from the defunct The Pages. Mario left the band after a short stint in 2013, and Rey followed shortly thereafter
