Electric Six Organs of Admittance

Electric Six Organs is exactly what it says on the tin - Ben Chasny's Six Organs Of Admittance, but minus the acoustic guitars. This was apparently an experiment that Ben tried out with the guys from Comets On Fire just before they recorded 'Field Recordings From The Sun', and was meant to be a "free noise/soul/groove faction" of Six Organs. According to Ethan Miller's notes to the excellent 'Beard, Bread & Bear's Prayers' compilation, they had enough tunes together for an album that was to be released on Holy Mountain
