Eboman

Eboman (real name: Jeroen Hofs) is a Dutch audiovisual multimedia artist and 'sample sculptor'. Active since 1995, he won the prestigious Dutch Popprijs ('Pop Prize') in 1997, in front of a flabbergasted audience, as hardly anybody knew who he was. The public expected to soon come up with a début album - as artists traditionally do in popular music - but Eboman never did. Instead, he built up an international reputation as an award-winning pioneer in tvideo sampling and real-time video manipulation.
