David Kattrup a.k.a. DJ Wank was born in Helsingør, Denmark. At the age of 16 (1992) David was introduced to techno and chose the odd Dj name “DJ Wank” because he wanted people to react and be provoked in order to get their attention. Spinning techno vinyl for over 2 decades has brought bookings in most of northern Europe. In the mid 90’s, start 2000 he had a major role in organizing techno events and bringing it to the legendary music venue Elværket in Helsingør DK, where he originally is from.
