Oh - so it was sort of a joke about politics or something like that. Trav said something satirical and Nick laughed. But it was Rob who didn't get it so we proceeded to explain it to him through song. Like our ancestors before us (note: we're assuming this, none of us bothered to do any research) we resorted to sounds to convey our meaning. The crunch of distortion conveyed thick wonder, the rim of the drum served to keep the trance. When the toms sounded we knew that we were on the right track and we used the bass to help us lose our way.
