Dexter Romweber (born John Michael Dexter Romweber in Batesville, Indiana, on 18 June 1966; died 16 February 2024), known as "Dex", was an American rockabilly/roots rock musician (primarily playing electric guitar) who lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, remembered as one-half of the seminal two-piece Flat Duo Jets. He subsequently fronted the Dex Romweber Duo with his older sister Sara Romweber. His first band, Gary and the Resistors, started in the family's cellar, with classmate Hunter Landon (The Bad Checks) on vocals.
