Dave Dixon

Dave Dixon grew up in Weston-super-Mare, UK and began writing songs as soon as he learnt his first few chords in 2003. Over the years, he sought to improve his production and songwriting in bedroom recordings, although a raw lo-fi quality remains an important characteristic of his sound. Dave moved to London in 2008 for study and began playing the folk/acoustic scene extensively. Since his arrival in the capital, he has been introduced by Tom Robinson on BBC6 and won the UCL Battle of the Bands 2010.
